including single family homes, townhomes, condominiums, 
apartments and assisted living residences. The population of 
The Woodlands is currently 83,884. There is a total of 5,410 
acres of greenspace in The Woodlands, in the community's 
108 parks, seven championship golf courses, open spaces and 
forest preserves. That total will increase to 7,790 acres at 
build-out, which is nearly 28%.
